With Her Words so tenderly laid on gold
Can a bleeding Love be too much to hold,
Burning yet weeping a world away
For long now I lay, Dead as day.
Violet dreams in my mind Enamored to stare
Into clouds I knew wouldn’t Cry or Care;
To cut my Veins, & color red along
Flaring my wings to life’s pathetic song;
I crash to burn and wither away to sea
For my Song pleads a death I’d love to Be.
